State-Mandated CME Requirements:

State-Mandated CME Content Detail
Licensees must earn 20 CME credit hours annually. A minimum of 50% of total CME hours must be Category 1 and in the physician's primary area of practice.

Each physician shall obtain at least one (1) hour of CME credit specifically regarding the prescribing of opioids and benzodiazepines. The one hour may be included in the twenty (20) credit hours of required continuing medical education required annually.
