Renewal Cycle:       Five-year CME cycle Minimum CMEs: 150 Category 1 CME every five years - minmum of 125 must be related to Plastic Surgery 25 Patient Safety (of the 150 total required CME)

CME Requirements Detail

Diplomates must demonstrate that they have completed 150 Category 1 CME every five years, of which 125 must be related to Plastic Surgery and 25 must be related to Patient Safety. Diplomates report CME completion by December 1 of MOC years 6 and 9. The ABPS will now grant credit if the requirement is completed through the American Board of Surgery, or another ABMS member board.
