Title: Changing Paradigms in the Treatment of Diverticulitis
Description: The conventional wisdom of recommending resection after two episodes of diverticulitis has been challenged. This session will examine changing recommendations in the treatment of diverticulitis including indications for resection for uncomplicated diverticulitis, the treatment of diverticular abscesses, the management of diverticulitis in young patients, and the role of laparoscopic resection.
