Title: Advances in Cancer Staging: An Interactive Session
Description: This session will review the new staging strategies published in the AJCC 7th Edition of the TNM System in the spring 2009. The format will be that of an interactive tumor board session which describes specific case scenarios and then applies new staging definitions that have been launched in the 7th edition of the AJCC Cancer Staging Manual. These sites will include colorectal, breast, lung and melanoma of the skin. Presenters will pose management questions as well as questions regarding the use of anatomical and molecular markers in staging. The goal of this session will be the application of staging strategies to surgical and non-surgical treatments.
