- Note 1: Record tumor focus at initial diagnosis on the resectable and unresectable cases. Unresectable cases can be determined using information recorded in the medical record (radiological imaging studies or managing physician documentation.
- Note 2: Use code 001 when tumor is described as unifocal; arising from or occurring in a single focus or location.
- Note 3: Use code 002 when tumor described as multifocal without measurement of foci, or when multiple foci of tumor are measured.
