Percentage of Non-Endometrioid Cell Type in Mixed Histology Tumors

Note 1: This is a microscopic evaluation of the degree of tumor cell differentiation from surgically removed specimens to define histology grade (G). The higher the grade is the worse the tumor malignancy.
Note 2: Notable nuclear atypia, inappropriate for the architectural grade, raises the grade to 3.
Note 3: Serous, clear cell, and mixed mesodermal tumors are high risk and considered Grade 3.
Note 4: Adenocarcinomas with benign squamous elements (squamous metaplasia) are graded according to the nuclear grade of the glandular component.
